MAY 26, 2006

On May 26, 2006 we received the most precious gift God could give us.  After waiting for many years for a little girl, God gave us this little chunky monkey.

She has been a joy to an all boy family.  She loves her brothers and her brothers love her.  Now 61/2 years later, she is still a joy to our family.

She is growing by leaps and bounds.  She is still very little.  She weigh 33 lbs and is wearing 4t/5t.  She just finished 1st grade with all A's.   She loves school and wants to go every day.  She writes in cursive and know Spanish and sign language.  She loves dance and cheerleading.  She does not know a stranger at all.  Which is good and bad.

I never dreamed that having a little girl in my all boy family would be such a joy.  Yes, we have our moments, but the great out weigh the bad.

Happy Referral Day Li Li Qun (Talicee Faith Li Li Landes)

WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN TO THE MOON AND BACK

LAST DAY OF 1ST GRADE

Well, we are officially a 2nd grader.  We haven't received the paper promoting her, but I think she is going to 2nd grade.  She received 2 awards today.  She all on the honor roll with all A's and for the whole year she received an honor for making all A's through out the year.  I am very proud of her.  At first she thought she had made a B in something, but she was surprised that she made all A's.  She is my little scholar.  2 down and 2 more to go.  Not looking forward to saying goodbye for my Senior.  Just does not seem long enough to have been in the nest.

Lots of work to be done before party and graduation.  Many more tears to be shed.  Now if I can get through the slide show, that will be amazing.  So many memories and not enough time for all of the slides.  I will have to say, that most of the pictures have been Taylor smiling.  I have not found but a very few that he is not happy in.  Warms my heart.

Many lasts this week.  Today is our last class for the year in Dance.  Now on to the recital and then Mom can rest for a month or so.

MOTHER'S DAY 2012

We had a very busy Mother's Day weekend.  Trevor went to his first dress up dance on Friday with a girl.  Yes, I can not believe that he is that old to be going with a girl.

Saturday, my friends, Talicee and I went strawberry picking.  We had a great time just being together and talking.  I was fine until Sunday afternoon and then my butt muscles really starting hurting.  I guess I am out of shape even though I exercise every day.  Must not be exercising the but muscle like I should.

Sunday was wonderful.  Great day at church and then to our annual Kabuki lunch.  Sure wished Tyler could have been with us.  I guess I need to get used to the family getting smaller as they grow up.  We relazed the rest of the day until time for church again.

My children are the best in the world.  Yes, we have our ups and downs, our troubles and our trails, but I love them no matter what.  I am proud of everything that they do.  They may not be scholars or perfect children( and I do not pretend they never do wrong) but they are mine and I love them no matter what.

HER BROTHERS HAVE NOTHING ON HER

When we first gots Miss Talicee, she was, well lets say, a BIG baby. But as she grew, she out grew the baby fat. She is very tiny now. She is 6 years old and only weighs 33 lb. Because she was small, she did not get out of her crib until she was 3. She moved into a toddler bed. She has been in the toddler bed until tonight. She finally has a big girl bed. She was so excited. I just checked on her and she never made it under the covers. She is sound asleep on top of the covers.

Now the work begins. I have to totally rearrange her room. This will take days to do. If you know my child, she has everything. She is also a pack rat. So I may have a hard time getting rid of stuff.

So now Talicee is part of the milestones in the family now.

STOP GROWING KIDS.

As of today, I have a Senior in college. So proud of Tyler.
